Adhesive and reusable solar tape

Solar power has come a long way from the massive solar power plants in the desert. Advances in nanomaterials and microtechnology now offer unprecedented design possibilities. The solar tape concept pushes the boundaries of portable solar power by offering a tape that can be reused over and over again.

You can instantly turn almost any object into a solar power plant. It is perfect for campers who can charge devices while hiking. Its reusable adhesive backing can adhere to canvas, glass and almost any other surface without laying flat so you can use it in an unlimited number of places.

Although this solar ribbon by designer Lei Yang is only a prototype, the idea is based on currently available technology. infinityPV manufactures solar strips, flexible and printed organic solar cells that come as adhesive rolls for cutting and gluing to rods, blinds, window frames, glass, drone wings, cabinets or anywhere else you may need electricity.

And in fact, one of these bands can be made at home today. But you will need some soldering knowledge or a converter, such as converter board OPV3W60V DCDC by infinityPV.

The infinityPV solar tape is available in standard widths of 30mm or 60mm, but they can also be custom made for you. The length of the tape roll can also be ordered to measure.
