One of the industries leading this change is the auto industry, it is responsible for much of the pollution and the shift to electric vehicles could change the future. Aptera is not only part of this positive wave of change.

Steve Fambro founded Aptera with the aim of finding a mobility solution capable of overcoming the most obvious problems of electric vehicles: range and charging times.

The hood, roof and dashboard are covered with solar panels to charge on the go, extend the range of the car and reduce the charging time when you need to make a pit stop.

It has a huge range of 1,600 kilometers, of course, given that it depends on the amount of sunshine where you live, but even if it did reach a range of 800 kilometers, that would already be a feat. The Aptera was designed to be light and ultra aerodynamic without compromising performance, it can go from 0 to 60 MPH in 4 seconds.

Its aesthetic is reminiscent of cartoon flying cars, sleek and fluid like an airplane for the road. Aptera wanted to be efficient, both in manufacturing and in performance. Although it is light, it is super safe and claims to be one of the safest vehicles. Aptera could help its user to reduce his carbon footprint.
