Fortunately, science and technology are advancing in leaps and bounds towards a future in which all energy is generated from from renewable sources. Although this is a long-term goal, new eco-inventions that allow us to make this planet a cleaner planet; elements of our daily life that work thanks to elements of nature.

One of the last eco-inventions to surprise us was Floor lamp, an LED lamp that does not need electricity to operate, only Land and water. This way we can always have a lamp handy with just a little water and, on top of that, do our part in taking care of the environment.

How does the floor lamp work?

The ecological lamp has a structure in hourglass shape, divided into two zones. On the one hand, the upper part, in which the LED bulb is located. And, on the other hand, the lower part, formed by copper and zinc bars that make electrodes.

Earth is inside the cells, so together with copper and zinc, they carry electric current to the bulb. The only condition for the lamp to work is that the ground is damp. Therefore, it is enough to water it from time to time.

Right now the floor lamp not available in Spain, although it is not excluded that it may happen in the future. Without a doubt, it would be great news if we could buy this lamp that works with land and water in our country.
