- We remove the peel from the orange.
You can do it however you want. If you use orange for juices, you just need to clean them a little. Remove the flesh from the orange.
- We chop the shells.
We cut the shells into not very large strips.
- We cook to eliminate bitterness.
We cook them 3 or 4 times, 5 minutes. Change the water. With this we will be able to remove bitterness.
- Cook in syrup.
We cook the strips with water and the same amount of sugar. It makes a syrup spice. Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
- We go out and empty.
If you plan to eat them in the next few days, you can take them out and drain them. Otherwise, you can store them in a glass jar with the cooking water.
