How to make homemade wet wipes

Today we are going to learn how to make your own wet wipes to use with your kids or to clean. They are anzauy simple to make and inexpensive, we will use materials that we already have in our house for the most part, without alcohol or any other product that can affect our skin.

There are many other ways to make our wipes more natural and free from chemicals that can be toxic. Starting from the fact that you will only have to have a suitable container and use a roll of toilet or kitchen paper, preferably recycled paper, we show you some of the recipes:

  • Simple recipe: 2 cups of boiled water, 1 tablespoon of neutral liquid soap, 1 tablespoon of virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
  • Antibacterial recipe: 2 cups of boiled water, 2 drops of tea tree essential oil, 2 drops of lavender essential oil, 1 teaspoon of calendula oil, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
  • Antibacterial recipe with Aloe vera: 1 cup of boiled water, 1 cup of Aloe vera gel, 2 drops of tea tree essential oil, 2 drops of lavender essential oil, 1 tablespoon of calendula oil, 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar soup.
  • Baby wipes recipe: 4 cups of lukewarm water (better if it is distilled water), 1 or 2 tablespoons of coconut oil or butter, 10 drops of calendula essential oil. You mix everything well. When it is liquid, you add it to the water and finally to the drops of calendula oil.
  • Make-up remover totallitas recipe: 4 cups of lukewarm water, 1 or 2 tablespoons of coconut oil or butter, 15 drops of essential oil of lavender, lemon, rosemary, cypress or peppermint for oily skin, chamomile, calendula, rosehip, jasmine, jojoba or roses for sensitive skin and orange, jojoba, incense, roses, sesame, wheat germ, argan tree, sweet almonds, grape seeds or sandalwood for dry or mature skin. You mix everything well, if you use coconut butter, you can heat it over very low heat in a double boiler. Once liquid, add it to the water and finally to the oil drops of your choice.
  • Cleaning wipes recipe: 4 cups of lukewarm water, 20 drops of tea tree essential oil, lemon or orange essential oil.

The most sustainable option is undoubtedly to replace paper with fabric.

Remember that you must first test if your baby is not allergic to some of the components that we have used, monitor its use and stop using it before any abnormalities occur.

For newborns, you can only use wipes with water, this will work for you too.
