solar bus

A Mexican company, Grupo MEN, is developing solar-powered buses for up to 40 passengers. The project will cost around $ 45 million, and initially the fleet will consist of five 25- to 40-seat buses. It is currently in the experimentation phase.

The buses must have the capacity to carry between 25 and 40 people, each person with two suitcases, and would reach up to 85 kilometers per hour; even with a battery, they must maintain this speed for at least 10 hours or 500 kilometers. One of the biggest issues you have is figuring out how to stop them.

Several Spanish companies have already taken an interest in the project.
