Today we will share the plans to build wooden furniture that we found on the Tocomadera website, a social furniture project, developed as part of the research activities of the Uruguayan School of Design Center.
A system for guide and assist self-construction through a system of manuals and plans illustrating the process step by step. The design of the manuals is intended for people with no previous experience in this type of project.
The products follow the traditional types of interior furniture, meeting the basic needs of a typical house. Wood is the structural material, betting on durability. The system can be produced on a small or large scale, or be part of training and self-construction programs.
